The invention relates to a load measuring cell for measuring axial and transversal forces that act on a rotating shaft. Said device can be used, for example, in spindle drives for measuring the axial force that is exerted. Said spindle drives are used, for example, in devices for replacing hydraulic cylinders, in particular in printing presses press and punching machines, textile machines and die casting and injection moulding machines. As the fixed bearing seat is configured with a degree of play in relation to the bearing housing (2), no friction occurs during the deformation.
