METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FILTERING OUT AN EMG-SIGNAL

Method for filtering an EMG-signal out of a raw signal, captured via a number of electrodes, which are designed to be arranged to capture signals from a diaphragm and functionally connected to a respective signal channel, is described. The method results in that a better quality of the EMG-signal is received by a signal-to-noise ratio determining for each signal channel and that a weight factor is arranged for each signal channel depending on the signal-to-noise ratio.
