The invention relates to sports, in particular to methods for teaching slalom, to devices for exercising and developing skills for slalom skiing using downhill or water ski or a snowboard and to entertainment devices. The inventive slalom imitator comprises a base (1), a bearing element (2) which is mounted thereon in such a way that is right-left movable, a platform (4) which is arranged on said element in such a way that it is periodically rotatable therewith in a clockwise-counterclockwise manner and is provided with a supporting surface for the slalomist feet, ski or snowboard and an oscillating crank gear (6) for synchronising and reversing the bearing element (2) displacements and for rotating the platform (4). A crank is fixed to the base (1) and is embodied in such a way that the slide which is arranged thereon has a closed motion path and movable along said crank in one direction and ensures the law of motion of the platform (4) with respect to the base (1) according to the law of motion with respect to the translatory motion when the slalomist feet, ski or snowboard are right-left displaceable and the angle position thereof is modified during said rotation and/or forward displacement thereof.
