The drill stand for a core drill (1), to drive the core drill crown (2), has a footplate for the column mounting (4) and a vacuum holding surface (7). The footplate is in two parts, with a column plate section (3) for the column mounting and a vacuum surface plate section (6). The two footplate sections are offset against each other within a plane (E). A threaded bolt (8) clamps the column plate section on the vacuum surface plate section, in a friction lock, passing optionally through an elongated hole (10) radially to the rotary axis (A) of the core drill crown.
