USE OF GUANIDINE COMPOUNDS AS PHYSIOLOGICAL RESTORATIVES IN THE FORM OF FOOD SUPPLEMENTS AND FODDER ADDITIVES, IN COSMETIC PREPARATIONS AND AS PLANT RESTORATIVES

The invention relates to the use of guanidine compounds of general formula (I) or the salts thereof, as physiological restoratives in the form of food supplements and fodder additives, or in cosmetic preparations in a non-medical field of application, and as plant restoratives. The invention especially relates to the use of creatinol, creatinol-O-phosphate or one of the salts thereof, especially those containing aspartamic acid, ascorbic acid, succinic acid, fumaric acid, acetic acid or phosphoric acid. The radicals R1 and R2 can be organic or inorganic compounds, such as phosphate, sulfate, acetyl, formyl, methyl, ethyl or propyl. The use of said compounds or the salts thereof as food supplements is especially applied in the fields of education, sport, reconvalescence and/or geriatrics, whereas the use thereof as fodder additives is preferably applied to breeding and feeder animals and animals used in competitive sports. The inventive uses of guanidine compounds, such as creatinol for example, provide significant advantages in terms of efficacy and cost during the production and application, in relation to the most well known guanidine derivative in this field, namely creatine.
