LEAKY-WAVE DUAL POLARIZED SLOT TYPE ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A leaky-wave dual polarized slot type antenna is provided to obtain broad operating frequency band, improve a gain, and transmit and receive a vertically polarized wave and a horizontally polarized wave in a same plane. CONSTITUTION: A leaky-wave dual polarized slot type antenna comprises a first spacer, a first dielectric layer, a first and a second feeding circuits, a second spacer, a second isolating layer and a second dielectric layer, sequentially layered on a first isolating layer. The second isolating layer includes a first and a second slot parts(35,41). The first slot part(35) is formed as a matrix of MxN first slots(39). The second slot part(41) is formed as a matrix of MxN second slots(45) orthogonal to the first slots(39). The width of each of the slots(39,45) is much smaller than the length of each of the slots(39,45) and a wavelength of a free space wave. The first feeding circuit includes N first strip lines(19), a first multi channel separator(23) and a first center port(27). The second feeding circuit includes N second strip lines(21), a second multi channel separator(25) and a second center port(29).
