The invention relates to a system for intermittent self-administration of a catheter (ISK), comprising a catheter (1) and a packaging (3), for sterile storage of the catheter (1), whereby the catheter (1) is a tube (2) with at least one opening (5) at the proximal end (4) and a connector piece (7) at the distal end (6), characterised in that the packaging (3) is embodied as a tube-like sleeve (8) which may be closed at both ends for containing and/or throughflow of a disinfection fluid. In order to release the catheter (1), the sleeve (8) may be pushed together or folded together along the catheter (1) from the proximal end (4) to the distal end (6).
