Method for data transfer between a read-write station (S) of a radio-frequency identification system (RFID) and at least an external functional unit (FE1-FE3), whereby transmission of at least one data block is carried out exclusively using at least one RFID communications connection from the read-write station to and or from at least one of the function units. An independent claim is also included for the corresponding read-write station and a functional unit for communicating with the read-write station.
