The assembling unit has an arm (9) extended from a helical winding (10). The winding encloses a section of a transversal metallic wire (5) of a cable tray (1) such that the assembling unit pivots around the wire. A hook (9b) immobilizes the assembling unit in its position and a hook (8) is connected to the transversal wire of another cable tray (2). An independent claim is also included for a raceway comprising cable trays assembling unit.
