PHOTOCHROMIC OPTICAL PRODUCTS, COMPOSITION THEREOF AND PRODUCING METHOD THEREOF TO IMPROVE REFRACTIVE INDEX, ABBE NUMBER AS WELL AS EFFECTIVE PHOTOCHROMIC PROPERTIES

PURPOSE: A photochromic optical products and polymer composition thereof are provided to improve refractive index, abbe number and photochromic properties, thereby being variously used in glass lens, a camera filter, car glasses, glasses used in buildings. CONSTITUTION: The polymer composition is produced by comprising the steps of: carrying out radical polymerization of a precursor composition containing monomers represented by a formula 1 and monomers represented by a formula 2; and introducing at least one photochromic colorant before or after the polymerization step. In the formula 1, R1, R'1, R and R' may be same or different, and are independently hydrogen or a methyl group; and m and n are independently 0-4. In the formula 2, R1 and R'1 may be same or different and are independently hydrogen or a methyl group; and R has 7-12 numbers of carbon atoms, and is one of polycyclo alkylene radicals having 5-6 numbers of carbon atoms in any one of the rings. The photochromic optical products comprise at least one photochromic colorant.
