METHOD FOR MONITORING REMOTE PLACE BY USING AUTOMATIC RESPONSE MODE, REALIZED BY ADDING MANAGER MODE FUNCTION TO ABSENT AUTOMATIC RESPONSE MODE IN PACKET NETWORK-BASED IMT2000 VIDEO PHONE TERMINAL

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for monitoring a remote place by using an automatic response mode is provided to add a manager mode function to an absent automatic response mode in a packet network-based IMT2000 video phone terminal, so that a user can see a screen and an image of other party during a call, and to assign a password function to the absent automatic response mode, thereby using as a remote monitoring mode. CONSTITUTION: An automatic response mode is set in a terminal located in a monitoring area. A transmitter calls the terminal. A monitoring terminal checks an elapse of a certain time or the number of rings, and delivers a prestored absent announcement message. The absent announcement message is received, and a manager password is transmitted to the monitoring terminal. The monitoring terminal decides whether the inputted manager password is identical with a preset password. If so, the monitoring terminal delivers video and audio signals through a camera and a microphone.
