METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING TEXT MESSAGE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, CONCERNED WITH AUTOMATICALLY REJECTING THE RECEPTION OF UNNECESSARY ADVERTISING MESSAGE OR MALICIOUS ADVERTISING MESSAGE BY USING TEXT MESSAGE AUTHENTICATION CODE

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for authenticating a text message in a mobile communication terminal is provided to automatically reject a reception of an unnecessary advertising message or a malicious advertising message by using a text message authentication code, thereby receiving a permitted text message only. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal receives a text message. The terminal decides whether an authentication code is set in the received text message. If not, the terminal notifies a user of the received text message. If the authentication code is set in the text message, the terminal extracts the authentication code from the received text message. The terminal decides whether the extracted authentication code is identical with a preset authentication code. If not, the terminal automatically deletes the received text message. If the two codes are identical, the terminal notifies the user of the text message.
