TIDE EMBANKMENT MATTRESS WORK USING A GABION HANGER, CAPABLE OF COMPLETING A LARGE-SCALE FINAL CLOSING WORK OF A SEA DIKE PRIMARILY AND CONSTRUCTING A GRADE STABILIZATION STRUCTURE FIRMLY

PURPOSE: A tide embankment mattress work using a gabion hanger is provided to prevent the damage caused by the failure in a final closing work and the environmental disruption caused by scour by succeeding in a large-scale final closing work of a sea dike primarily and to execute a mattress work firmly by dropping many gabions conveniently at regular intervals. CONSTITUTION: The tide embankment mattress work using a gabion hanger comprises the steps of: paving a mattress(3) whose one side is wound around a caisson bar(19) suspended on a marine crane(5) and the other side is provided with many gabions(31) on the footing ground of the seabed(1) toward the advancing direction of a marine crane(5) from a gabion(31); tamping the footing ground primarily by dropping ripraps(15) on the paved mattress(3), and leveling up the dropped ripraps(15) using an H-beam which is suspended on the backside of the caisson bar(19) of the marine crane(5); tamping the footing ground secondarily by dropping ripraps(15) to the planned height; and dropping gabions(31) vertically on the planned height at regular intervals.
