METHOD FOR OPERATING AVATAR SERVICE CAPABLE OF REFLECTING ACTIVITY OF REAL WORLD

PURPOSE: A method for operating an avatar service is provided to enable a user to use an avatar in chatting, games, and community activities by making the user decorate an avatar or update a capability of the avatar with incentives offered from a service site. CONSTITUTION: A member buys goods by connecting to a cooperated Internet shopping mall through a wire/wireless terminal(S101). After purchase, goods information and buyer information are informed to an avatar service site server(S107). The buyer information is searched/extracted from a member database. An avatar item matched with the goods is searched/extracted from an avatar item database(S109). After decorating/updating the avatar of the extracted member with the extracted avatar item, the avatar is stored in the member database(S110). The member enjoys an avatar service by using the updated avatar after connecting to the avatar service site.
