PURPOSE: A method for setting a routing path in a personal communication wireless network is provided to store minimal information while setting a routing path by using the stored information, thereby setting a reverse routing path identical with a forward routing path and preventing plural RREPs(Route Replies) from being generated. CONSTITUTION: A source node sets information on a destination node and the second setup time corresponding to the destination node(S500). The source node starts a counter(S502). The source node decides whether a path maintain message is received within the second setup time(S504). If not, the source node resets a routing path to the destination node(S506). If the path maintain message is received, the source node resets the counter(S508).
