ENDLESS HOT ROLLING EQUIPMENT BY APPLYING HEAT TO BOTH END PARTS OF HOT ROLLED STRIP IN WIDTH DIRECTION

PURPOSE: To improve strength of a bonding part of the hot rolled strip discharged from the bonding unit and uniformly form widthwise bonding strength of the hot rolled strip by heating both end parts of the hot rolled strip in a width direction before a hot rolled strip is supplied to a bonding unit, thereby reducing widthwise temperature deviation of the hot rolled strip. CONSTITUTION: In an endless hot rolling equipment in which the bonded hot rolled strip is finish rolled through a finish rolling mill (90) after coiling a hot rolled strip (B) rolled through a rough rolling mill (10) on a coil box (20), cutting top and tail ends of the hot rolled strip extracted from the hot rolled strip rolled at coiled coil box by a crop shear (40), and bonding a tail end of preceding hot rolled strip and top end of succeeding hot rolled strip by a bonding unit (60), the endless hot rolling equipment comprises an edge heater (50) and a bar heater (55) installed between the crop shear and the bonding unit, wherein the edge heater heats both end parts of the hot rolled strip in a width direction of the hot rolled strip to improve bonding strength of the hot rolled strips bonded in the bonding unit and uniformly form widthwise bonding strength of the hot rolled strip, and the bar heater heats the hot rolled strip to reduce longitudinal temperature deviation of the hot rolled strip.
