PURPOSE: A wireless communication terminal for supporting various wireless communication systems and a method therefor are provided to supply a mobile communication service regardless of physical layer methods of various wireless systems under the wireless connection environment. CONSTITUTION: A physical layer(100) includes a plurality of first system individuals corresponding to physical layer methods of various wireless systems. An adaptation layer(200) receives or transmits a primitive from or to the physical layer. The adaptation layer includes a plurality of second system individuals and routing individuals for performing a distribution function to the second system individuals. A data link control layer(300) receives or transmits the primitive from or to the adaptation layer.
