DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING POLYMORPHISM ON RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT BY CASTING FIRST OBJECT INTO SECOND OBJECT USING METADATA

PURPOSE: A device for implementing polymorphism on a runtime environment is provided to cast objects of one type into the object of a new type through an extended polymorphism technology by using a metadata description of a process to runtime. CONSTITUTION: The device includes more than one processor and more than one medium performing operative communication with the processors. The media includes the first type object(102), the metadata(108) used to cast the objects unknown to the runtime environment(110), and processor-executable instructions. The processor executable instruction performs an operation for making the processors cast the first type object into the second type object(104) by using the metadata in the runtime environment.
