METHOD FOR SUPPLYING GOLF INFORMATION BY USING POSITION INFORMATION OF A PERSONAL PORTABLE TERMINAL AND A SYSTEM THEREFOR, CONCERNED WITH REALIZING A TOTAL GOLF INFORMATION SUPPLY SERVICE

PURPOSE: A method for supplying golf information by using position information of a personal portable terminal is provided to set event information in accordance with a specific spot, and to supply various event information reflecting a user's position with regards to golf while confirming the user's position in the specific spot. CONSTITUTION: A system drives a GPS receiving module interworked with a personal portable terminal(S410). The system analyzes a GPS signal received through the GPS receiving module, and generates current position coordinates of the terminal(S420). The system receives course map data corresponding to the current position coordinates from a predetermined map information server(S430). The system receives a predetermined course identifier for a golf course from a user(S440). The system recognizes position coordinates of one hole corresponding to the transmitted course identifier, and operates a spaced distance between the current position coordinates and the position coordinates of the recognized hole(S450). The system supplies information on the operated distance to the user(S460).
