PURPOSE: A recovering device while switching an optical switch of a digital optical repeater for mobile communication is provided to enable an automatic recovering function to a normal operation state by an outer control command when an optical switch of an ROU(Remote Optic Unit) is switched. CONSTITUTION: The first ROU(80) comprises as follows. The first optical switch(82) switches an optical path of an optical signal transmitted from a donor according to a normal operation condition or a switching condition by an outer control command. The second optical switch(84) forms an optical path by switching into a normal operation condition or a switching condition opposite to the first optical switch(82). An optical distributor(86) distributes the optical signal of the first optical switch(82) to the second ROU(100) and the second optical switch(84). A main optical module(88) processes the optical signal of the second optical switch(84) into a control signal and an RF signal. A sub optical module(96) receives the optical signal from the main optical module(88), and retransmits the received signal to the first optical switch(82).
