METHOD FOR SETTING UP A BELL SOUND IN A MOBILE TERMINAL, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH RECEIVING DATA ON WEATHER INFORMATION AND AUTOMATICALLY CHANGING INTO A PRESET BELL SOUND FOR THE RECEIVED WEATHER DATA IN ORDER TO NOTIFY A USER OF INFORMATION ON THE PRESENT WEATHER

摘要

PURPOSE: A method for setting up a bell sound in a mobile terminal is provided to offer weather information with a bell sound only as a base station transmits weather information data through a broadcasting channel and a terminal receives the transmitted data and automatically changing into a preset bell sound for the weather. CONSTITUTION: A base station receives weather information data for the present location, stored in a weather information server, in real time at a unit of preset time(S10) and transmits the received weather information data to every mobile terminal through a broadcasting channel(S20). Each mobile terminal, receiving the weather information data, judges whether subscription to the weather information service has been made(S30). If a mobile terminal judges that the subscription to the weather information service has been made(S40), the mobile terminal confirms the received weather information data and changes into a bell sound preset according to the confirmed weather state(S50).
