PURPOSE: An apparatus for opening and closing a plug insertion slot in a mobile phone is provided to simplify the insertion of a connection plug and to previously prevent the loss of a stopper by inserting the connection plug through a plug insertion slot without the necessity of pulling the stopper from the plug insertion plug or inserting it into the plug insertion plug. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for opening and closing a plug insertion slot(10) in a mobile phone comprises a door(20). The door(20) is hinged and combined in the inner side of a rear case(100) through the plug insertion slot(10), installed at the bottom surface of the rear case(100). The door(20) is elastically supported by a twisted spring(40). If the front end part of a connection plug(12) pushes the door(20) as the connection plug(12) is inserted into, the door(20) is pushed upwards and opened. When the connection plug(12) is removed, the door(20) is closed again by the elastic stability of the twisted spring(40).
