PURPOSE: An inflator mounting structure for an airbag is provided to prevent the leakage of gas and the separation of an inflator by inserting a support unit integrated with a connecting member into a groove of a support surface when the inflator is exploded. CONSTITUTION: In an inflator mounting structure for an airbag, a joint unit(45) protrudes upward from a coupling member(43) coupled to a mounting plate(40). A support unit(53) is formed integrally with a connecting member(52) connected to the outer circumference of an inflator(50), and protrudes downward toward a support surface of the coupling member. An elastic member(70) is disposed between the joint unit and the support unit. The inner and outer circumferences of the elastic member are coupled to the outer circumference of the joint unit and the inner circumference of the support unit, respectively. A groove(46) is formed at the support surface of the coupling member. The end of the support unit is inserted into the groove of the support surface when the inflator is exploded.
