PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a camera flash function, a method for controlling the camera flash of the same, and an LCD in the same are provided to add only an LED to the LCD of a mobile terminal without the necessity of installing a special device in order to execute a flash function. CONSTITUTION: An LCD in a mobile terminal having a camera flash function is comprised of a backlight LED(Light Emitting Diode)(52), a flash LED(50), a light guide plate(54), and an external LCD(56). The light guide plate(54) reflects light, generated from either the backlight LED(52) or the flash LED(50). The external LCD(56) radiates the reflected light to the external. The backlight LED(52) emits light according to a control signal(66b) from a control part(12). The emitted light is reflected by the light guide plate(54), and the reflected light is radiated to the external through the external LCD(56). The external LCD(56), directly controlled by the control part(12), displays text data or numeric data, generated by the control part(12).
