PURPOSE: A tumble generator of an engine is provided to supply a strong and stable tumble to the combustion chamber of the engine by stabilizing the operation of a flap and securing the tightness of an intake passage opened and closed by the flap. CONSTITUTION: A tumble generator of an engine comprises a sheet installed in a cylinder head to divide an intake passage into an upper part and a lower part, a flap(7) rotatably installed in a spacer block to make the free end closely attached to the lower face of the sheet or the lower face of the intake passage, and a flap operation module for rotating the flap.
