METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INSULIN PUMP WITH PDA USING BLUETOOTH MODULE THROUGH INTERNET

PURPOSE: A method for controlling an insulin pump with a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) using a Bluetooth module through the Internet is provided to operate the insulin pump linked with a measured value of a blood glucose measurer and enable a remote family doctor to set a dose or a mode by transferring data among the insulin pump, the blood glucose measurer, and the PDA through the Bluetooth module. CONSTITUTION: A server judges whether a connected user is the family doctor(S1). In case of a nurse, an order to adjust an insulin dose by receiving blood glucose data is issued(S2). In case of a doctor, performs checking whether he/she is a family doctor and if he/she is not a family doctor(S3), performs a change of the family doctor. In case of the family doctor and that the change of the family doctor is performed, the insulin pump having an ID of a patient is operated by a new prescription through the Internet and the Bluetooth module(S4).
