ETHYLALCOHOL EXTRACT OF NOTOGINSENG RADIX WHICH CONTAINS A LARGE AMOUNT OF SAPONIN AND HAS INHIBITORY EFFECT ON OSTEOPOROSIS INDUCTION

PURPOSE: Provided is an ethylalcohol extract of Notoginseng Radix which contains a large amount of saponin and has inhibitory effect on osteoporosis induction. Therefore, it is used for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. CONSTITUTION: The ethylalcohol extract of Notoginseng Radix is obtained by extracting Notoginseng Radix at 70-80 deg.C for 3-5 hours using ethylalcohol and concentrating the extract at 20-40 deg.c under vacuum pressure. The extract contains a large amount of saponin and inhibits the induction of osteoporosis.
