SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADAPTIVE HANDWRITING RECOGNITION USING GENERAL AND USER CLASSIFIERS

PURPOSE: A system and a method for adaptive handwriting recognition using general and user classifiers are provided to quickly confirm a feature of a handwriting letter extracted from sample letters and not inputted from a user yet by allowing the general/user classifier to facilitate a recognition process. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a recognition component(102) having at least one general classifier component(104) and/or at least one user classifier component(106). The general classifier component comprises the general classifiers(108-112). The user classifier component comprises the user classifiers(114-118). The recognition component receives/analyzes handwriting data(120). The general/user classifier components facilitate the analysis performed by the recognition component. The general classifier component provides classification of the substantially similar handwriting data. The user classifier component facilitates judgment for the classification of user data.
