PURPOSE: An apparatus for surface treatment of a tire mat and the surface-treatmented tire mat are provided to make the feel of the tire mat smooth and increase frictional force by removing rubber and protruding nylon tire cord. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating the surface of a tire mat is composed of a first surface processing roller(1) rotated by a motor(M1) and a shaft(11) in one way, a second surface processing roller(2) rotated by a motor(M2) and a shaft(21) in an opposite direction, a guide plate coupled to four frame posts(5), and a pair of drawing rollers(3,4). A plurality of pins are arranged on the surface of each surface processing roller at regular intervals. The guide plate has a guide for guiding a tire rope, and a cutout portion. The surfaces of the surface processing rollers are disposed at the cutout portion of the guide plate. The drawing rollers draw the tire rope processed by the surface processing rollers. The height of the guide plate is adjusted by nuts(6) coupled to the frame posts.
