PURPOSE: A split scissors girder and beam is provided to reduce the maximum deflection and to control the crack on a floor slab by having the equal resistance against bending moment with a scissors girder joined to a column. CONSTITUTION: The split scissors girder and beam comprise a web stiffening plate, a scissors girder, a scissors beam, a stiffening CT, a gradient stiffening CT by dividing into a girder(2) connected to a column(1) and a beam(3) connected to the girder. The stiffening CT is composed by welding a square horizontal plate to a square vertical plate and stiffening two joined plates with a trapezoidal stiffening rib, and used to join an upper split T of a scissors girder. The gradient stiffening CT is composed by welding a square gradient plate to a square vertical plate and stiffening two joined plates with a triangular stiffening rib and used to join a lower gradient split T of a scissors girder to a column.
