PURPOSE: In vitro mass propagation medium of Sarracenia species and a method for mass production thereof using the same medium are provided, which medium reduces the growth period of Sarracenia species to mass produce Sarracenia species, and allows for production of Sarracenia species all the year round. CONSTITUTION: The in vitro mass propagation medium of Sarracenia species comprises 25 to 50 mg/l of folic acid, 100 to 200 mg/l of ascorbic acid and 100 to 200 mg/l of citric acid in MS medium having a reduced concentration of the medium components. The method for mass production of Sarracenia species comprises the steps of: seedling Sarracenia species in the in vitro mass propagation medium of Sarracenia species and culturing it under light condition to induce a young plant; cutting roots of the young plant, inoculating shoots of Sarracenia species into the in vitro mass propagation medium of Sarracenia species, and culturing them to regenerate the young plant; and transplanting the regenerated young plant to the soil and culturing it.
