PURPOSE: A satellite antenna is provided to easily receive a satellite signal from an artificial satellite, and simplify the configuration of the antenna. CONSTITUTION: A satellite antenna comprises a mobile body roof(20), a helical dipole antenna unit(11), an element unit(12), an insulation unit(13), a reflector plate(14), a low noise amplifier(15), a magnet(16), and a coaxial cable(17). The mobile body roof is used as a reflector plate for reflecting the satellite signal received from an artificial satellite. The helical dipole antenna unit has a length of 1/2λ, and receives the satellite signal reflected through the mobile body roof serving as a reflector plate. The element unit has a length of 1/10λ, and a center where the helical antenna unit is coupled. The element unit receives the satellite signal transmitted from the artificial satellite. The insulation unit is coupled to the element unit. The reflector plate is coupled to the insulation unit and insulated from the element unit. The reflector plate is bonded to the mobile body roof and reflects the satellite signal received from the artificial satellite. The low noise amplifier is shielded by an iron plate so as to be bonded to the mobile body roof. The low noise amplifier amplifies the satellite signal input through the reflector plate and converts the signal into a medium frequency signal. The magnet is attached to the low noise amplifier and performs a grounding function. The magnet is plated to attach the satellite antenna to the mobile body roof. The coaxial cable outputs the medium frequency signal converted by the low noise amplifier to a satellite signal receiver disposed in a mobile station.
