PURPOSE: Provided are a method for mass producing stilbene compounds having anti-cancer and -inflammatory activities from the pine tree using environmental factors causing environment stress and the use of the compounds for health foods, drinks, cosmetics and medicaments. CONSTITUTION: The method for mass producing stilbene compounds having anti-cancer and -inflammatory activities is characterized in that pine needles are environmental factors causing environment stress, the expression of a coding gene of the stilbene synthase is induced to increase the content of stilbene compounds, and the stilbene compounds are extracted from the pine needles.
