PURPOSE: A method for processing flexible paging and supplementary service function in a mobile communication system is provided to provide a quality supplementary service to CDMA wireless subscribers by performing a CRBT(Color Ring Back Tone) function during an operation of a flexible paging function. CONSTITUTION: When a mobile terminal(110) requests call origination in an area 'A', the first control station(120) receives it and requests call origination from the first exchange(130). The first exchange(130) requests information on an origination subscriber of the mobile terminal(110) from a VLR(Visitor Location Register)(140), receives a response on the origination subscriber information, and requests a destination position and call setup information from an HLR(Home Location Register)(400). The HLR(400) requests termination call setup information from VLRs(240,340) of areas 'B' and 'C', receives a response, and transmits the destination position and the call setup information response to the first exchange(130). The first exchange(130) requests a termination call setup from the second and third exchanges(230,330). The second and third exchanges(230,330) request information on a destination subscriber from the VLRs(240,340), receive a response, request paging of the destination subscriber from control stations(220,320), and transmit a response on the termination call setup to the first exchange(130). The second and third control stations(220,320) transmit destination subscriber paging to mobile terminals(210,310). When the mobile terminal(210) responds to the destination subscriber paging, the second control station(220) transmits the response to the second exchange(230). The second exchange(230) informs the first exchange(130) about the destination response from the mobile terminal(210) and the first exchange(130) informs the first control station(120) about call setup completion. The first control station informs the mobile terminal(110) about call setup completion.
