PURPOSE: A USB(Universal Serial Bus) OTG(On-The-Go) interface block and a USB OTG interface method to reduce number of signal ports between a link block and a transceiver block of USB OTG are provided to reduce the number of the signal ports between the link block and the transceiver block by discriminating signals of each device in response to an ID signal. CONSTITUTION: The link block(710) receiving the ID signal and outputting an Ioc_conn signal includes first and the second demultiplexer(712,714), and the third multiplexer(716). The transceiver block(720) outputting the ID signal and receiving the Ioc_conn signal includes the first and the second multiplexer(722,724), and the third demultiplexer(726). The first multiplexer selectively outputs/transfers an a_vbus_vld signal and a b_sess_end signal to the first demultiplexer by responding to the ID signal. The second multiplexer selectively outputs/transfers an a_sess_vld signal and a b_sess_vld signal to the second demultiplexer by responding to the ID signal. The third multiplexer selectively receives a drv_vbus signal and a chg_vbus signal transferred from the third multiple by responding to the ID signal.
