FIXING PLATE, OPTICAL DEVICE AND PROJECTOR FOR PREVENTING GENERATION OF COLOR INEQUALITY AND PIXEL DEFLECTION BY SUPPRESSING EXPANSION/SHRINKAGE OF PLATE PORTION IN FIXING PLATE

PURPOSE: A fixing plate, an optical device and a projector are provided to the generation of a color inequality and a pixel deflection. CONSTITUTION: First cutting portions(446A3) are crossed lengthwise in each side of a plate portion(446A) in a fixing plate(446) by extending from an opening(446A1) to the outer circumference of the plate portion. Second cutting members(446A4) are crossed lengthwise in each side by extending from the outer circumference to the opening. Thereby, the expansion/shrinkage of the plate portion is suppressed. Therefore, the hanging of the transforming force in an optical modulator at the expansion/shrinkage of the fixing plate is prevented. Moreover, the change of the permeability and the color inequality are prevented.
