METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERRING APPLICATIONS OR DATA ON NETWORK USING SMART CARD

PURPOSE: A method and a system for transferring applications on the network using a smart card are provided to enable a client to use the application stored on the network through a client card by transferring the application to an ICC(IC Chip) in the client card through an MS(Magnetic Stripe) card of the client. CONSTITUTION: The client card(100) is equipped with an application loading record for loading the applications and a card information record. A server(110) on the network stores/manages the application and/or application information obtained by the client through the MS card by linking with client card information. An interface device(105) requests the server to download the application and/or the application information to be loaded to the ICC client card based on card information extracted from the ICC client card, and provides the application and/or the application information transferred from the server to the ICC client card.
