PURPOSE: A surround circuit, an acoustic apparatus, a surround apparatus, and a sound effect controller are provided to prevent a fluctuation of a sound from a rear speaker even when the separation of input two-channel stereo signals is deteriorated. CONSTITUTION: A sound effect controller(3) receives a surround signal generated based on a disparity signal generated from a signal for a left channel, a signal for a right channel, and signals for the left and right channel. The sound effect controller includes a sound effect controlling portion(12) controlling the sound effect by adding an additional signal for correcting a surround effect to a predetermined surround signal. The additional signal for correcting the surround effect is generated based on the signal for left channel, the signal for right channel, or the surround signal.
