MOBILE TERMINAL HAVING AN ORGANIC EL-TYPE KEYPAD, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH PREVENTING DAMAGE TO COMPONENTS AND DETERIORATION IN PRODUCTIVITY BY EXCLUDING SOLDERING WORK

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having an organic EL(Electroluminescence)-type keypad is provided to prevent damage to peripheral components, due to heat generation in soldering, and a falling-off in productivity by excluding soldering work. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal having an organic EL-type keypad is comprised of an upper folder(11), a lower folder(21), a keypad(41), a main PCB(51), and a connection member(61). The upper folder(11) and the lower folder(21) are combined each other rotatively. The keypad(41), installed inside of the lower folder(21), contains an organic EL sheet internally. On the rear side of the keypad(41), the first contact(45) of the organic EL sheet is exposed and formed. The main PCB(51) is installed inside of the lower folder(21). The second contact(57) is formed on the surface of the main PCB(51) so that power can be supplied to the first contact(45) of the organic EL sheet. The connection member(61), inserted between the keypad(41) and the main PCB(51), has the third contact(67) of which one side is in touch with the first contact(45) and the other side is in touch with the second contact(57) so that the first and second contacts(45,57) can be connected each other electrically.
