PURPOSE: A heating cooker is provided to prevent the unexpected setting and the feeling being hard to use to a user. CONSTITUTION: A heating chamber stores food. A heater heats the food inside the heating chamber. An operating unit(6) inputs heating time of the heater. A control unit controls the driving of the heater based on the setting input from the operating unit. The operating unit sets by a setting operation of a heating time input unit. The heating time input unit counts a setting time in a certain time unit. The control unit has a maximum time of the heating time. In setting the setting time from the heating time input unit over the maximum time, the control unit sets to the maximum time. In setting through the heating time input unit after the maximum time setting, the control unit resets the setting time as zero.
