SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY STORING DOCUMENTS USING DOCUMENT SCANNER EQUIPPED WITH BARCODE READER FOR READING BARCODE OR HOLOGRAM

PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically storing documents using a document scanner equipped with a barcode reader for reading a barcode or a hologram are provided to automatically classify/store the documents to a computer system connected to the scanner by using an ID code marked on the paper document as the paper document is scanned. CONSTITUTION: A scanning system(10) is equipped with an automatic feeder(12) automatically feeding multiple printing, the barcode reader(14) generating/transferring barcode information by reading the barcode, and the scanner(16) generating/transferring an image file by scanning the printing. The computer system(20) is equipped with an interface(22) receiving the barcode information and the image file, and a hard disk(24). The hard disk includes a processing module(26) generating a folder using the barcode information as a folder name and storing the image file in the generated folder.
