PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to improve the cooling efficiency by reducing air flux and reduce a flowing noise of air and an operational noise of a cool air circulation fan by reducing flowing resistance of air. CONSTITUTION: A main body(10) has a storage compartment inside. An evaporator(20) is arranged at a rear inside the storage compartment long in vertical direction. A partition plate(24) is installed to cover a front of the evaporator for forming a passage of cool air passing through the evaporator. The back side of the evaporator having a large area is separated from an inner back side of the main body and the front of the evaporator is separated from the partition plate to dispersedly pass air circulating on the evaporator over the whole area of the evaporator. A cool air circulating fan(25) is installed at an upper part of the evaporator for circulating air inside the storage compartment. A through-hole(26) is formed at the partition plate for discharging air sent by the cool air circulating fan. An inner plate(31) is installed in front of the partition plate, being separated from the partition plate for forming a cool air discharge passage(30), and has cool air discharge ports(32).
