PURPOSE: A heating cooking apparatus is provided to change a display pattern according to the opening and closing of a door of a heating chamber and to improve display effect for demonstration. CONSTITUTION: A heating cooking apparatus is composed of a heating chamber for receiving materials to be heated; a heating unit for heating the materials; an operation unit for setting a condition related to heating-controls or ordering by a press or turn operation; a display device(13) having a plurality of display units(L1¯L8) to be turned on and arranging the display units to surround the operation unit; and a display control unit for repeatedly turning on one display unit of the display device and turning off another display unit. The display control unit switches turn-on/off of the display unit and obtains a rotary display shape that a display portion rotates by switching operations.
