SYSTEM FOR CONFIRMING A VISITOR DURING RESIDENT'S ABSENCE AND A METHOD THEREFOR, PARTICULARLY REGARDING TO TALKING OVER THE TELEPHONE WITH RESIDENT WHO IS AWAY FROM HOME BY USING BUZZER, AND OPENING DOOR BY THE RESIDENT

PURPOSE: A system for confirming a visitor during resident's absence and a method therefor are provided to talk over the telephone with a resident who is away from home by using a buzzer, and open a door by the resident, and confirm visitors during resident's absence. CONSTITUTION: A buzzer terminal(1) includes a buzzer, a handset, and a door opening and shutting element for connecting a visitor with a resident, and opening the door. A wire telephone switching system(3) processes service registration when the resident registers for a service confirming the visitor when the resident is away from home, connects a call between the handset and a telephone terminal of the resident, and transmits a door opening signal to the door opening and shutting element if the telephone terminal transmits a door opening request signal. A service terminal(2) is installed between the buzzer terminal(1) and the wire telephone switching system for providing service registration and going-out setup functions. If sensing a signal of the buzzer while the resident is out, the service terminal(2) transmits a hook-off signal to the wire telephone switching system for connecting the call and transmits the door opening signal to the door opening and shutting element.
