PURPOSE: A communication service system using a mobile phone, and a method therefor are provided to increase the number of subscribers and reduce waste of resources by decreasing the purchasing price of the mobile phone and securing guarantees for the credit of the subscriber. CONSTITUTION: A credit guaranteeing server(110) acknowledges and transmits credit information of a subscriber, and controls the credit guarantee contract process of the subscriber. A subscription contract server(130) rents a mobile phone to the subscriber on a condition that the subscriber uses a specific communication service. The subscribing contract server(130) controls a process of relaying the credit guaranteeing contract between the credit guaranteeing server(110) and the subscriber. A subscription situation database(150) stores registration information of the subscriber, log-in information of the subscriber, information of the mobile phone, and rent-related information of the mobile phone. A financial settlement server(170) processes a communication service use charge and a rent charge of the subscriber, and controls a process of paying the rent charge or a cash purchase cost to a financial service company.
