Purpose: a kind of method and apparatus are provided to and automatically configure current time for being set using a current time of a broadcast singal, using the broadcasting channel selected by a user, by a TV be user in current time to provide authentic communication. Construction: when a time set mode command is received (214), a stand-by state of an OSD (screen is shown) displays for the input of a reference channel.
