PURPOSE: A magnesia-zirconia fire resistant material is provided to improve resistance to slag penetration and anticorrosion by replacing the magnesia clinker with a synthetic magnesia-zirconia clinker. CONSTITUTION: The fire resistant material having excellent resistance to slag penetration comprises: main raw materials consisting of 85-90wt% of a magnesia-zirconia clinker and 10-15wt% of natural graphite; based on 100pts.wt of the main materials, 2-4pts.wt of metal aluminum and 3-4pts.wt of a phenolic resin.
