PURPOSE: A liquid crystal driving method, a liquid crystal display system and a liquid crystal driving controlling apparatus are provided to reduce power consumption upon driving a gradation voltage selector by providing a bit conversion circuit on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) driver. CONSTITUTION: Gradation voltages are to be supplied to a pixel electrode of a liquid crystal. A circuit converts a common voltage to be supplied to a common electrode of the liquid crystal at positive and negative phases. At the positive phase of the common voltage, a first voltage is supplied as the gradation voltage. At the negative phase of the common voltage, a second voltage is supplied as the gradation voltage. The circuit selects the first voltage from a first display data and the second voltage from a second display data. In cases the first and second data are identical to each other, these data have a same bit patter expect a specific 1-bit.
