MULTI-PURPOSE STREET LIGHT CAPABLE OF DISCHARGING HARMFUL GAS THROUGH GAS DISCHARGE PIPE PENETRATING THROUGH UPPER AND LOWER POLES, AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A multi-purpose street lamp and a method of using the same are provided to prevent contamination of soil due to harmful gas, by discharging harmful gas through a gas discharge pipe arranged in the street lamp. CONSTITUTION: A gas discharge pipe(8) is arranged to penetrate through inner centers of an upper pole(6) and a lower pole(7). The gas discharge pipe has a top covered with an upper cap(10) having a gas discharge port(11), and a lower portion extended from a bottom of the lower pole and buried under ground. A gas inlet port(12) arranged at a bottom of the gas discharge pipe is communicated to a top of a large concrete structure(4) having a U-shaped sewage pipe(3) arranged therein. An air ventilation unit(9) is arranged in the gas discharge pipe such that an air upstream is formed in the gas discharge pipe. The harmful gas introduced from the gas inlet port smoothly flows upward along the gas discharge pipe, and is discharged to outside through the gas discharge port formed at the upper cap.
