PURPOSE: A torsion beam-type suspension is provided to obtain high bending strength and torsional rigidity without a torsion bar and a reinforcement by a torsion beam with large second moment of the area and polar moment of inertia. CONSTITUTION: In a torsion beam-type suspension, a pair of left and right trailing arms is connected by a torsion beam(24). Front ends of the trailing arms mount a vehicle body by a joint. The torsion beam pressurized and molded with a pipe of the predetermined thickness. A region(c) of both ends of the torsion beam is formed as a hollow oval section. A region(a) of a central portion is a hollow open-ring shaped section. A region(b) between the central portion and both ends is formed as an open-ring shaped section larger than the central portion.
